I also have experienced this with my newly received shungite stones. What was the conclusion on this regarding metallic rust on the stones? Thank you

Hello How can you be sure that what you buy from someplace other than your company is really shungite?

Dear Cindy, thank you for your comment. You can check the authenticity of shungite once you receive the items. You can check the color of shungite: Regular Type III shungite has dark grey color, when Elite Type I shungite has sivery shiny surface and color. You can also check electrical conducitity of shungite using a battery and a light bulb. Read more in our article called "Easy Steps to Check the Authenticity of Shungite". Hello, About the little bit of "rust" appearing from with the tiny fissures: Those at Karelian Hertiage, must have seen this before. You must be able to automatically be familiar and know what this is. It is odd that you are asking for proof or pictures. It really must be a very, very well-known characteristic, and a natural one at thatt!! When you tell the other customers to send photos and also say things like, "if you are having a problem...". It means you have Never heard of the little Rusty sediment - that I hope is just a NORMAL thing?? Thanks

Dear Gia, thank you for your comment. We are sorry for the confusion. You are correct, rust on shungite is a normal phenomenon and it does not compromise the quality of shungite, we are familiar with the phenomenon and let our customers know about it. Regarding the comments above, please note that they are not about rust, they are about the faulty surface on the harmonizers. We are doing our best to resolve any issues and to answer any questions that occur. We take all necessary measures to prevent occurring of such situations. Please let us know if you have any questions, we will be happy to assist. Best regards, Karelian Heritage.
